STA"M Studio
Sacred Text Care, Scribal Workshops, and Jewish Art Facilitation
with Cantor Hinda Eisen Labovitz, soferet sta"m.
As a soferet, cantor, and educator based in the DMV area, I offer Torah, Megillah, and Nevi’im assessment and repair, as well as congregational learning and art-centered workshops rooted in Jewish text and tradition.

Scroll Repair & Education
I offer evaluation and repair services for Torah scrolls, Megillot, and Nevi’im scrolls, including on-site assessments for congregations and institutions. I also lead educational programs that help clergy, lay leaders, and congregants deepen their understanding of scroll care, the anatomy of a Sefer Torah, and the distinctive features often found in older scrolls. Rooted in both technical expertise and reverence for sacred text, this work is designed to support the life of the scroll and the community that reads from it.

Art Workshops
My art workshops invite participants into meditative, tactile, and text-rooted creative practice through collage, watercolor, poetry, ink on paper, and resin. These offerings are designed for individuals, congregations, and organizations seeking meaningful spiritual engagement through art. Available in person or virtually, workshops can be adapted for small groups, large communities, and a range of learning settings, and tailored to the needs of the group.
